PRAYER FOR AN END TO THE PANDEMIC

Almighty and merciful God,

source of all life, health and healing,

look with compassion on our world,

brought low by the coronavirus;

protect us in the midst of the grave challenges that assail us

and in your fatherly providence

grant recovery to the stricken,

strength to those who care for them,

and success to those working to eradicate this scourge.

Through Christ our Lord.  Amen.

An Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You

are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.

I love You above all things,

and I desire to receive You into my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment

receive You sacramentally,

come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there

and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.  Amen.

Please see below for other spiritual resources available online. The Catholic magazine Magnificat is now offering free access to its prayer resources through May through this link: www.magnificat.com/free.

May God’s abiding presence continue to support and sustain us!
