This 9 week series meets Monday nights beginning April 12. The 2 hour session each week provides an opportunity to meet others who have also suffered a loss and to take time to read and discuss various topics related to grief recovery. The program is non-threatening, caring and very loving toward those who have suffered a loss. We meet beginning Monday, April 12th at 7:00 P.M., in the Parish Center (please enter through the wooden door facing Palomar Road).
Our bereavement ministry volunteers are committed to journey in faith with who have suffered the loss of a loved one and provide comfort, support, and direction to those in grief.
Each session provides encouragement for those who have lost a loved one and an opportunity to meet others who have also suffered a loss. It is comforting to know that you are not alone.
During each session there will be time to read and discuss various topics related to grief recovery and then time for personal reflection. All sharing is confidential and one may always respond by not sharing that night. All of this takes place in an atmosphere of prayer – for prayer is essential.
One should be at least 3 months bereaved before beginning a series.
