Saints Felicitas and Perpetua will be offering an seven-week bereavement support program for those who have lost someone dear. The program is non-threatening, caring and very loving toward those who have suffered a loss. The 2-hour classes will begins Wednesday October 14th at 7:00 P.M., in the Parish Center (please enter through the wooden door facing Palomar Road). About Us
The bereavement ministry volunteers are committed to journey in faith with who have suffered the loss of a loved one. These ministers supply comfort, support, and direction to those in grief.
Each session provides encouragement for those who have lost a loved one. It also provides an opportunity to meet others who have also suffered a loss. It is comforting to know that you are not alone. During each session there will be time to read and discuss various topics related to grief recovery and then time for personal reflection. All sharing is confidential and one may always respond by not sharing that night. All of this takes place in an atmosphere of prayer – for prayer is essential.
One should be at least 3 months bereaved before beginning a series.
