Please purchase Romeo and Juliet/Westside Story at the bookfair (Just be sure it is the Laurel Leaf edition). They will also have The Outsiders by SE Hinton and To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee available for purchase.

We may have a Literature test on Unit #1 if we finish on time. Just a heads up for now.

ITBS TESTING ALL WEEK.
The only homework for my subjects will be Reading Log each evening. Time will be given in class for final drafts of the 7th (Minstrel's Tale) and 8th Grade (mystery story) writing assignments. Some typing may need to be completed at home. Math homework will be assigned by their teacher. Please check Daily Planners for nightly assignments.
There will be no Vocabulary words from Loyola text or HSPT this week to accommodate testing.

Vocabulary: Unit One words, p. 120 by Weds., notecards by Friday, and practice test on Weds. with final test on Friday.
English/Literature - Mystery stories are due on Friday. Must be double-spaced, typed in 12 pt. font, and edited.
Family Units - Posters are due on Thursday. Bring ten baggies (or pre-bagged) Goldfish crackers for Friday's Family Unit.
